The, like, Legacy - Chapter Two

So instead of doing anything like I said I would, I went home.  I'm a grown woman.  I don't need to fight anyone because I need to grow up.  See!  I'm making very ma-tour decisions.  You all should be proud of me!

I quickly hopped in bed because I had work the next day.  I wasn't feeling like this was the job for me though.  I wanted to be in control, but was I really ready to lead an entire country?  I mean, I can barely make toast!  Could I decide when we faced war and how much to give to the dirty poor people on welfare?  Heck no!  (Note to self: People don't like being called dirty poor people.)

That morning I was feeling like a major hag-cow because of the night before.  I got robbed, talked to an incompetent police officer (ugly and poor), and I started my uh... *whisper* period.  I went into work that day very grumpy.

I got hit on at work hard by this old dude.  He was my superior, and I didn't want to lose my job, so I went along with it.  Little did he know that I was gonna file for sexual harassment if it happened again.  The simple solution was to make myself less attractive, or quit.

I got home and changed into my longest skirt and least revealing shirt, but it didn't work.  I guess I'm just you know... naturally... ugh.  Nevermind.  You guys don't like when I give myself complements, do you?  Nah.  Anyway, since I couldn't look ugly that well, I had to quit.

Since I didn't want to change into my other clothes, I decided to go on a date with Chris.  I called him in my kitchen to see if he was available.  He was!  After we hung up, I jumped up and down until I twisted my ankle and stopped.  It hurt really bad.

I put on my fancy dress, though I said I didn't wanna change again, and headed out to meet Chris at this exclusive club.  I was so excited!  Maybe I'd get more romantic with Chris!  We'd probably even share our first kiss!

I called a taxi because I wanted to fit in.  I was getting used to talking to my usual driver.  His name was... well, I don't know.  But he was funny as heck!

We met outside that night and talked before we went inside.  He told me how my eyes shone like the moon, and I was thinking of how I wanted to hold, squeeze, and cuddle him in my bed like a teddy bear!

Being considerate and not traditional, I gave HIM some flowers to show that I was serious about him!  He gave me a hug, and then we went inside.  That place was really empty!  You'd think it'd be more popular on a Friday night, but I guess everyone was at home listening to Rebecca Black instead of you know... having fun.  On Friday.  Friday.  Gotta get down.  On Friday.  Ahem.

When we went into the elevator, he stood near the corner.  I hope it was because he was nervous and not  because of me... Oh noes.

I stepped off the elevator, and what did I see?  Some ho was wearing the same outfit as me!  And then it hit me!  That ho WAS me!  I'd arrived at the club before... myself.  I was flirting with the bartender while I got off the elevator with Chris.  I and I were VERY confused.

Then I had the nerve to look at MY man like that!  Who did my ho-self think I was looking at while I was standing right there!  I would've kicked my boobs in if I made a move on MY man.  Shooooot...

Chris and I daaaanced the night away, blah blah blah, Afreeka!  I listen to a lot of pop music, I know.  Anyway, there was some smooth jazz playing and I loved it.  He even "accidentally" touched my butt!  After that, we ended the date because the club was closing.  We were the only ones there.  It was so romantic, and kinda awkward.  You can't really get close with a bartender sipping a forty and grunting every time you rest your head on his shoulder.

I went home that night and hopped in the shower.  Life was very boring without Chris...  This is what I did...

I went to work the next day, knowing the job wasn't for me.  I decided that today was the day to quit.

As I went into work for the last time, I noticed this little boy.  Why wasn't he in school?  It was a Monday and 10 am.  Um.  Huh?

I left the building with my dignity after I slapped my boss for patting my butt too many times.  He was dumbfounded.  Good.  I had no job though!  I was so S.O.L.

I went into the bookstore to find the next book in the series my boss had recommended.  She said something about Dallas in the title.  Anyway, I found it and jumped with glee when I saw the rest of the series.

Jesus was with me when I left that bookstore, because as I crossed the street, this happened RIGHT behind me.  I nearly peed myself!

I practiced my romance face because I read in Cosmo that guys like it when you over-exaggerate it during... you know.  Hehe.  It wasn't going very well.  I looked like a retard, :*(

Later that night I KNEW I needed to look for a new job, so I opened the paper and began searching.  I wanted a job where I could be in control of other people.  Maybe a CEO of something.  Then I found the perfect job!  A Daycare!  I could make the kids get me food and everything!  I set up an add on the computer and I was ready to go.  After my excitement died down, I called Chris over.  He said yes really quickly.

We sat down for a while outside, not really talking, but still.  The stars were coming out, so we sat together and spoke softly.  It was really relaxing, and totally romantic.

Why wouldn't he ask me out!?

I took the initiative and asked him if he wanted to spend the night.  He accepted, and I told him to watch some TV while I made dinner.  I made salad to show that I was slim, but put meat in it to show that I wasn't a rabbit!  He ate it up!

He even wore his tux to my dinner table.  He was crazy-sweet.

Apparently he wasn't into wedlock, so neither of us got lucky.  Well, I take that back!  I did get to cuddle with him!  *Fangirl Moment*

I had to clean up a bit, and he continued to watch TV while I did so.

He was so cute!  We made funny faces until my doorbell rang.  Oh god.  It was my first day of work...

Two women dropped their kids off while Chris nearly peed his pants, and I was going crazy!  One baby headed out the door and the other went to the kitchen!  I quickly ran to my bed room and pulled out some toys from when I was younger.

I took a bathroom break and when I came back, this is what I saw.  Little baby Derrek was laughing as the other boy, who I didn't bother learning his name, was being eat by my toybox.  This was SO not going according to plan...

Later that night, Derrek decided to train to be a ninja and Cueball played with a horse.  This wasn't as fun as I'd expected...  In fact, I hated this job.  I needed to be with Chris, and SOON!

Eventually the parents came and retrieved their demon-spawns, allowing me some time to myself before I went to bed with my new books.  I made some more salad because I was running out of food.  I ate then cleaned up.  While I ate, I was making important decisions about my life.  I knew what I had to do...

My house was too small, I had no job, Chris wasn't asking me to marry him, and nothing was going right.  I needed money desperately or else I'd starve.  Instead of moving back in with Alexis, I made a more independent decision.  I had to move homes...

  2. Haha, thanks for the comment! I don't like that song that much, but then again, I don't like Rebecca Black either, so...

I'm doing an update right now, so hopefully it'll be up before 2:30! It's 65 pictures!

  3. I can totally picture everything she does, just like she is some of the annoying kids I work with. (sorry kids if any of you read my comment) :P

Wonder what Ma-tour decision she is devising.
