Lorena was softly sleeping in her bed that night. Chris and I had some more alone time, so we got extra curricular. It was a good night.
The next morning was very hectic. I had to clean the toilet out since no one else was around or awake to. Finally, it was done and I could eat! I was starving!
Chris woke up later and began potty training Lorena. It was so sweet.
I was huge! I had to take care of the house while Chris was at work, and let me tell you, I'll never make fun of pregnant women again. The second time was NOT any easier.
Lorena and I were practicing her walking when something suddenly happened! I nearly dunked Lorena into her crib as Chris stood there terrified. I was in PAINNNN!!!
The baby was coming! I couldn't have drove to the hospital faster, but luckily I had an excuse!
I ran into the hospital, Chris following close behind. Do you see something wrong with this hospital? It doesn't really reassure me that someone died right outside of the hospital... In fact, I was nearly reluctant to go inside. Chris rushed me inside swiftly, and it was finally over.
We welcomed the precious Alcide Jennings into the world. His name is pronounced Al-see, with the "d" nearly silent. Nearly.
When we got home, Chris rearranged the kids bedroom so we would have more room for Lorena and Alcide. They were so cute in the same room. We went with a brown-ish color for the scheme since it seemed warm. Later, Chris finished up his lesson with Lorena.
Though she learned how to walk, I can't say I was comfortable with the look Chris gave her. It's like secret-stalker.
I cleaned up the house while Chris took care of Lorena and Alcide that day. It was my day off with the kids, so I took up to the gardening. It was very peaceful and relaxing.
Look! I even had fruits and vegetables! It was the first thing I'd ever grown. Chris congratulated me before doing more chores around the house.
He was on poop-duty for a while. It was a great break from that terrible job, haha. I checked the mail that night, and look guess what I found! The friends that came to our wedding sent us gifts! They were REALLY expensive too! Look!
Atlas's Burden - $4,800
Radio - $200
Keyboard - $700
Nice Pictures - $350
We also got one other gift that we sold for more money, :P
(Beowuuf Stack - $2,400)
I gardened. A lot. I was raking in around $250 every three days. For a girl with no job, that was great money!
While I put the toys away, Chris and Lorena decided to team up against me. It wasn't cute. Look at those glares. Hmph. After the mean-mug situation, Chris and I celebrated Alcide's birthday on our own! My little boy was growing up!
Notice how no one was there? Good. No one was invited because of last time. It was horrible. Anyway, Chris and I made a cake for Alcide, happy that he was growing up!
He was in desperate need of a haircut though. I fixed him up with some scissors, and I must say, it looked wonderful.
The house was a mess, so naturally, I had to clean it up and do the chores. I didn't mind it though, as long as I got to see this little face every morning:
I took care of the responsibilities of potty-training Alcide and teaching them each how to talk.
See? Mommy has no favorites! They're both my loves.
I leveled up in my gardening the next day! It was so epic. I could soon plant those weird seeds I found over the weekend! Before we knew it, it was time for Lorena to age into a child. They were growing up TOO fast! I felt like sobbing.
How creep- I mean, cute! Aw! She turned into a child soon after that.
Wow, she wasn't too happy about something. Maybe we sang off-pitch? I don't know. She really needed a makeover though, ha.
Chris set up the bunk-bed for Lorena and Alcide to soon share, then we were off to bed.

Lorena was our little monster. I think her slippers are adorable! She followed in her dad's pattern for PJs. Maybe that'll be our family thing!
Lorena woke up to Alcide playing with his toys that Sunday morning. She was angry but I thought it was adorable, :)
While Chris watched the kids that night, I ran out to sell my fruits and vegetables. I got a few hundred dollars for them, so I made some adjustments to our home.
Lorena was the first up on Monday morning. I think she was anxious about her first day of school. I was gonna cry if she left...
Chris grabbed his lunch and bounded for the door, hopping into the carpool. He promised to watch the kids that night so I could do something fun.
I sighed as Lorena ran off to school. Soon, she'd be moving out. My baby girl was growing and I couldn't do anything about it... I just had to make the best of it until it happened.
